4th on Broadway Festival

Annual 4rh on Broadway is a free, outdoor family event held on July
4th. Since it's birth 15 years ago, it has been classified as "The
largest Free Festival in Texas." Planned events include a huge
Independence Day Parade, seven-block Street Fair with 11 musical stages
and an Evening Concert ending with a spectacular fireworks display in

Apple harvesting season begins in July and continues through October. Hi Plains
Orchards, located four miles east of Idalou on Highway 62/82, features a 6,000-tree
